A quick history of the clan

Founded in November 2004, The DVDF Xbox Community Clan was born from a group of people from the DVD Forums (now the Digital Fix). People there wanted to play games with people they already knew rather than all the other random annoying people you meet on Xbox Live, so the clan was born. Originally just another Halo 2 clan, things have evolved from there into a multi-gaming Xbox community we have now. We have lots of members, mostly from the UK, but we also have a strong Norwegian contingent.

What we do, what games to we play?

We play lots of different games including all of the current major releases with the main ones being Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to name but a few. We're not really into running organised clan matches and we currently don't have any Gamebattles etc teams going. At the moment we are just a laid back informal community who get together and have fun on Xbox Live in the evening after work. Our philosophy is just to have fun and not take anything too seriously; we're not a competitive clan (except when it comes to who can kill/teabag Terahertz the most). We always play the game how it was originally intended and we don't use any glitches or mods of any kind. We are a strictly no cheating clan.

Are we recruiting any new members?

We're not actively recruiting any new members, although we're always open to new friendly people. The clan was primarily setup for Xbox gamers from the Digital Fix, however we do allow non forums members to signup on occasion if there cool and interesting people. What's the Plan?

"What's the Plan?" is kind of the clan motto (or something)... It came about from spatular always asking at the start of a Halo 2 game 'What's the Plan guys?', only to be met with complete silence. It has kind of stuck as something we always say now...
